Etta, I'm afraid of water color. I am so bad at it. I love the effects, but seem to have no patience for learning the right way to mask out what you don't want painted... I do love oils, but haven't used them in a few years. I like this painting. Thank you for showing it. Love, Debra
Debra, Actually my late husband painted with watercolors very well. I'm not very good at it. I remember he used to water wash the paper before start to paint. Then he would spread the colors. I was fascinated by his work, but I couldn’t do it myself.
